Sheikh Ammar Al Nuaimi Honors the Achievements of Ajman Digital Government in 2019
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council praised the accomplishments of Ajman Digital Government in their efforts towards transformation and provision of services. He emphasized the need for continued efforts to successfully implement the transformation plan and enhance the speed and quality of services.
His Highness highlighted that keeping up with advancements is crucial in today's evolving world. With the dedication of professionals, all government services will be transformed into digital platforms. He expressed his optimism for all Ajman government entities and institutions transitioning towards services.
These remarks were made during His Highness's participation in the meeting with partners involved in the transformation. The session included a presentation on projects by Ajman Digital Government and its strategic partners. Consultant Ibrahim Al Badawi from the Open Data Institute shared insights on the achievements and significance of the "Ajman Data" project and its status. Imad Shafiq from Gartner Research summarized trends for 2019, while Sarah Al Balushi, Director of Digital Transformation Plan at Ajman Digital Government, unveiled details about the upcoming phase of the Digital Transformation Plan Award and major milestones within their 100-day plan.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi highlighted the commitment of Ajman Digital Government to stay up and to date with advancements by implementing a transformation strategy for government services. The department has made efforts to enhance information technology within government agencies. It is currently focused on finalizing the remaining digital services.
He also emphasized that His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, attaches importance to developing government institutions in the emirate to achieve progress and development in all areas, particularly in digital services for individuals, investors, business people, strategic partners, and stakeholders.
Furthermore, Ajman Digital Government supports and enables government institutions to align with the trends of the United Arab Emirates towards digital transformation.
His Highness further stated, "Our aim is for Ajman to take the lead in service provision and be at the forefront of this domain. We strive to contribute to the societal advancements witnessed by the UAE. Therefore, we are working diligently within the Ajman Government to enhance infrastructure facilities and public services related to technologies. Our strategic plan aims at reaching everyone while developing our plans for sectors and delivering top-notch services."
The Ajman Saray Hotel hosted a gathering of transformation partners. Present at the event were Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism Development; Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department Engineer; and Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matrooshi, Secretary General of the Executive Council as heads and general managers from various government departments in Ajman. Additionally, heads and general managers from various government departments in Ajman attended the event, as well as members of the transformation team, data ambassadors, and employees from different government departments and strategic partners.
Director General Ohoud Shuhail from Ajman Digital Government expressed her pride in their accomplishments, affirming that these achievements reflect the vision set by the leadership in Ajman. She emphasized that the "Ajman Data'' project bridges companies and individuals to a world of innovation and creativity. It allows them to showcase groundbreaking research and design applications that benefit everyone.
