The platform of Ajman's presence at the GITEX Technology Week, which took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre until October 10th, witnessed the introduction of services and projects and the signing of a collaboration agreement involving 12 government departments.
To kickstart their participation, the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed an agreement with "A4Value" to strengthen their collaboration in risk management and foster confidence in both global business practices. As part of this agreement, "A4Value" will conduct training courses and seminars for chamber members while equipping them with cutting-edge tools for risk assessment.
In addition, the Ajman Free Zone unveiled its "Start Your Business via WhatsApp" project, which facilitates communication between investors and enables them to inquire about packages offered by the zone. Through this service, investors can quickly establish their companies using WhatsApp with the assistance of intelligence technologies. The registration process is automated once information is provided. Desired package details are also provided.
Furthermore, the Department of Tourism Development launched an Open Data Electronic Portal designed to keep up with tourism growth while enhancing transparency and improving services. This portal offers 18 lists containing data related to licenses, tourist activities, and the hospitality sector. It is accessible for use, reuse, and publication by individuals or government entities.
Ajman Tourism has recently introduced a reception system aimed at simplifying procedures and creating a database for all stakeholders in line with the high standards set by the seven-star system. This service is available to department visitors, including guests, suppliers, strategic partners, and others. Visitors can conveniently register their entry through a platform by providing their information and requesting meetings with department personnel.
Ahoud Shuhail, the Director General of Ajman Digital Government, mentioned that during the GITEX event, more services and projects will be launched. At the same time, cooperation agreements will be signed to enhance further transformation in the emirate.
Shuhail emphasized that Ajman's presence at the GITEX exhibition involves participation from 12 government entities. This year's platform showcases improvements in design, space utilization, and scientific and technical activities. These advancements align with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, who aims for a presence of the Ajman Government at the exhibition. The goal is to engage the public in evaluating services while introducing them to experiences and achievements.
She also stated that the Ajman platform will organize workshops and seminars in Arabic and English, specifically centered around technology and its influence on government services and projects addressing important subjects like information security and artificial intelligence.
