School Education Stage (Kindergarten 4-5 years)

This stage includes level 1 and accepts children who are 4 years old on 31st December of the year on which they enrolled. Level 2 accepts children who are 5 years old on 31st December of the year on which they enrolled. The children care and education services in early childhood aim to provide individual and collective physical, mental, social and educational environments and experiences that are organized, balanced and appropriate. It also aims to contribute to the integrated development of the children physically, mentally, emotionally and socially, and to establish a sense of belonging to the homeland and foster values of tolerance from an early age by focusing on language, identity and ethics.

School Education Stage (first cycle from grades 1-5)

School Education Stage first cycle is compulsory and free in public schools. This stage includes grades from one to five and aims to achieve the general goals of education and preparing the citizen in the various aspects of its physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and social personality.

School Education Stage (second cycle from grades 6-8)

School Education Stage second cycle is compulsory and free in public schools. This stage includes grades from six to eight and aims to achieve the general goals of education and preparing the citizen in the various aspects of its physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and social personality.

School Education Stage (third cycle from grades 9-12)

Secondary education accepts students according to their abilities and interests. It's based on providing educational, scientific, cultural, technological, vocational and specialized experiences to meet the needs of the existing or expected UAE society at a level that helps the student to pursue higher education or join the labor market

The secondary education streams which the student can join according to his/her abilities and interests:

• General Secondary education stream which is based on a general cultural base and academic knowledge
• Advanced Secondary Education stream which is based on a general cultural base and a specialized scientific base
• Elite Stream is an extended stream of the elementary education stage in which students start to join from grade 7 (or end of the first cycle) and adopts an advanced scientific base.
