Free Zone Corporation
Ajman Free Zone issues a free zone establishment license and has an independent legal personality and is 100% owned by either an individual or a legal person (company).
This person must have the equivalent of 50,000 US dollars, which is equivalent to 185,000 UAE dirhams in capital for the organization.
Required Documents
- Passport valid for 6 months
- Colored passport-size photograph
- No-objection letter from the current sponsor, if the applicant resides in the UAE
- Submit a feasibility study in the case of industrial, service and electronic activities
- Fee of AED 100 for approval of the trade name
Free Zone Company
Licenses for free zone companies are issued to a number of partners, whether they are individuals or companies. The company has an independent legal personality, and the shares of each investor are determined by the partners when issuing the license.
Required Documents
- Passport valid for 6 months
- Colored passport-size photograph
- No-objection letter from the current sponsor, if the applicant resides in the UAE
- Submit a feasibility study in the case of industrial, service and electronic activities
- Fee of AED 100 for approval of the trade name
A branch of a local company
Licenses are issued to local companies that hold a valid license from any licensing authority in the United Arab Emirates and intend to open a branch within the free zone.

- Colored passport-size photograph
- Submit a feasibility study in the case of industrial, service and electronic activities
- Fee of AED 100 for approval of the trade name
- The original copy of the license
- Original Membership Certificate
- Original Commercial Register Certificate
- Board Resolution
A branch of a foreign company
Licenses are issued to foreign companies that are established outside the United Arab Emirates and intend to open a branch or representative office through which they conduct commercial, industrial, professional and service activities.
Required Documents
- Passport valid for 6 months
- Colored passport-size photograph
- No-objection letter from the current sponsor, if the applicant resides in the UAE
- Submit a feasibility study in the case of industrial, service and electronic activities
- Fee of AED 100 for approval of the trade name
- A certificate of registration of the parent company attested by the UAE Embassy in the concerned country and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the United Arab Emirates
- Issuance of the decision of the board of directors of the parent company to issue the license by the free zone and the appointment of a representative or manager under a notarized power of attorney, provided that the decision is ratified by the UAE embassy in the concerned country and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE
- The company's incorporation contract certified by the UAE Embassy in the concerned country and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the United Arab Emirates
