Department of Tourism Development

The Ajman Tourism Development Department was established pursuant to Emiri Decree No. (3) of 2012 issued by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. The Ajman Tourism Development Department is the authority charged with strategic planning, development and promotion of tourism in Ajman to be a tourist destination that attracts tourists from all over the world. The department is responsible for setting regulations and legislation that aim to develop the tourism sector in Ajman in coordination with other government departments. The department also overlooks hotels and hotel apartments and travel agencies, and supervises their performance.
