This service allows applying for mortgage amendment (increase mortgage amount/ increase mortgage period any other modification on mortgage) for a property in favor of the financing entity in order to guarantee the rights entailed on the property.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • The original title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration certificate is required if the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

  • Approval letter from the mortgage authorities.

  • The original title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration certificate is required if the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

  • Approval letter from the mortgage authorities.

Process

  • 1 Submitting the application request and required documents through the E-services portal
  • 2 Reviewing and approving the application by the Customer Happiness Center
  • 3 Personal presence of the concerned parties on Ajmanre headquarters to sign the contract
  • 4 Payment of fees
  • 5 Download the e-title deed/initial registration certificate/Registration certificate from UAE Pass wallet.

Service fees

  • 0.5% of the mortgage value as a registration fee for registering a mortgage on the property or real estate unit, with a minimum fee of AED 1,000.

  • AED 500 registration fee for amending the mortgage by extending the mortgage period for the property or real estate unit.

  • "AED 350 – Issuance fee for the title deed / ownership certificate / initial registration certificate."

  • "AED 1,000 – Fee for registering a mortgage data amendment for a property or property unit, excluding value and duration."
