Vehicle Technical Test Service

This service involves inspecting the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness and registration for the following vehicle categories: light vehicle, motorcycle, classic vehicle, light bus, heavy bus, trailer, and semi-trailer — within the service center.

Required Documents

  • Preliminary approval for company vehicle registration (issued by the Transport Authority)

  • Committee approval form for company vehicle registration (issued by the Customer Service Center at Vehicle Inspection Centers

    • Government Entities

  • "Vehicle documents (vehicle ownership - customs certificate, possession certificate, or vehicle transfer document)

Process

  • 1 Bring the vehicle to the designated lane for technical Testing
  • 2 Payment of the technical inspection fees
  • 3 Complete the technical inspection and receive the vehicle inspection result via the Ministry of Interior application and through SMS.

  • Light Vehicle (Private/Public) – 150 AED Motorcycle – 150 AED Trailer and Semi-Trailer – 120 AED

  • Light Mechanical Equipment (Private/Public) – 200 AED Heavy Mechanical Equipment (Private/Public) – 200 AED

  • - Freight (less than 12 tons) (Private/Public) – 200 AED Freight (more than 12 tons) (Private/Public) – 200 AED

  • - Bus (less than 27 passengers) (Private/Public) – 200 AED Bus (more than 27 passengers) (Private) – 200 AED

  • Classic Vehicle – 420 AED
