Vehicle Plate Replacement (Lost/Damaged)

This service allows the vehicle owner to request the issuance of new license plates to replace damaged plates or in case of the loss of one or both plates.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • Certificate for Whom It May Concern (Lost Vehicle Plate Certificate) - Damaged Plates – The damaged plates must be returned to the Customer Service Center.

    • Business

  • To Whom It May Concern Certificate (Vehicle Plate Loss Certificate) - Damaged Plates – The damaged license plates must be returned to the Customer Service Center.

    • Government Entities

  • To Whom It May Concern Certificate (Vehicle Plate Loss Certificate) - Damaged Plates – The damaged plates must be returned to the Customer Service Center.

Process

  • 1 Personal attendance of the customer at the service center
  • 2 Submission of the Vehicle Plate Loss Certificate or delivery of damaged plates
  • 3 Payment of the applicable fees
  • 4 Receiving the license plates from the License Plates Factory

Service fees

  • Ajman Identity Plates: AED 300 - Sports Plates: AED 500

  • Two Long Plates: AED 80 - Two Short Plates: AED 80

  • One Short Plate + One Long Plate: AED 100
