Emirate of Ajman

The Emirate of Ajman is a major hub in the UAE's entity, through its role in the initiative of the Union and its geographical location. It is located within the Northern Emirates overlooking the Arabian Gulf and the middle of the Emirate of Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain. It covers an area of 260 square kilometers. To 600 km. The emirate includes the cities of Musfout and Manama, as well as the city of Ajman, which is the capital of the headquarters of the Governor's Office and the headquarters of the departments and government institutions. Within three decades, Ajman has been able to be the investment front in the region, opening a window to the world through trade and industry and supporting investors with a set of laws and regulations to achieve the vision of wise leadership.

Ajman’s culture is steeped in exceptional hospitality. It is an inherited tradition borne out of the austere natural environment and the resulting emphasis on receiving and providing for guests. While times may have changed and the complex codes of hospitality of the forefathers may no longer be practised, sincere generosity is still shown throughout everyday life in Ajman today.

Manama area

Located in the plains at the foothills of the Hajar Mountains to the east of Ajman, Manama is about an hour's drive from city centre. It has a quiet, residential feel, making it a popular getaway for city dwellers. 

Masfout area

Known for its fertile agricultural land and high-quality marble, Masfout is in the south of the UAE near Hatta, a 90-minute drive from Ajman city. Its elevated altitude brings cooler temperatures and the rugged backdrop attracts outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers

Individuals

Personal photo of the beneficiary.
Copy of the marriage contract if the wife is not registered in the Family Book.
Statement of owned properties from the same Emirate where the applicant works if the place of work is outside the Emirate of Ajman.
A recent (original) detailed salary certificate from the employer or social affairs for both spouses, or a non-employment certificate from court if the applicant is unemployed.
Proof of residence (property deed or land plot plan).
Statement from the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme (optional).
Additional documents required for divorced and widowed women: Proof of marital status from court (proof of marriage termination + Custody certificate + alimony + proof of inability to provide residence for children if she has children (recent) - Copy of the family book of the (divorced / deceased) husband. - Copy of the children’s passports (for divorcees). - Determination of inheritance certificate (for widows). - Retirement certificate for the deceased husband (for widows).
Additional documents for women married to non-citizens: - Copy of the marriage contract. - Marriage continuity attestation certificate. - Copy of the passport of the husband and children with residency permits. - The husband’s salary certificate + employment contract + bank statements for the last 3 months. - Children’s birth certificate. - Certificate of commercial licenses for both spouses. - Education Continuity certificate for the children for a period of 3 years.

Process

1 Submit the request through the website (Amar system).
2 Studying the application through the Land Grants Committee
3 Approving the allocation of land or housing.
4 Receive a text message via email or phone stating that the request has been approved
5 Pay the due road paving fees (if any) with the service fees for issuing a site plan
6 Receive the Site plan

Service fees

Application fees for the service: Free
Road paving fees: if any, according to the region. in the event of obtaining a statement from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, to obtain a 50% discount on road paving fees
Site plan fee: Private residential AED 500
